The first version of the MODES software was published as a Supplement to the MODES paper in Geoscientific Model Development (GMD) in 2015, where it remains available.

Since then, numerous advancements have been made, and we are planning to release MODES v2 in 2025. Please check back then.

The MODES software has been successfully implemented and used at several institutes. It can be requested for research and teaching purposes!
